Curious about building a website but don’t know where to start? This two-hour class will go over the foundations of building a website and elements that are often featured in modern websites. We’ll cover key elements like how a website gets from your computer to the internet. You'll also learn about modern website layouts, branding, navigation, and how to prepare content for an easier design process. You’ll also get tips on choosing a domain and writing effective copy. You’ll see examples of other websites, and share examples of websites you like with peers, discussing your own website goals in a collaborative way. By the end of class, you’ll have a better understanding of what goes into creating a website using a no-code website editor, without feeling overwhelmed.
