This class is for older adults and their adult children to address the silent epidemic of clutter and the inevitability that the clutter (and home) has to be cleaned out eventually. We will discuss the mental health issues that can result in living in a clutter-free space, how to have the conversations necessary to help clean out the parent’s home, and how to put together a plan to make it happen in the most compassionate manner possible.

Learn science-based evidence of how clutter impacts mental health, as well as the science-based evidence of how living in clutter-free and organized spaces benefits the mind and overall health of the young and old. AND, learn how EVERYONE can be involved...and without the conflict!
Intro to Grant Writing

This 6-session, bi-weekly class introduces you to grant writing - everything from searching for funds, and developing your proposal idea, to submitting applications. Topics include how to search for good-fit funding, how to draft the five typical sections of grant applications, and tips for using online submission templates. Go at your own pace and get instructor feedback on what you draft. Bring your laptop for the best results. Meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
